2008 National Hardware Show & Lawn & Garden World

The 63rd National Hardware Show, featuring Lawn & Garden WorldT, HomewaresT and New Product WorldT, returns to Las Vegas, May 6-8, 2008 and will occupy the entire Las Vegas Convention Center. The combined events will offer home channel retailers of all sizes a comprehensive preview of the entire home enhancement marketplace, including special product areas focused on green products, new product inventions and a glimpse of the global marketplace. Plans for this year's show are well underway with some exciting news about its progress-to-date:

* Over 80 percent of the floor space sold to-date
* Over 3,500 manufacturers are expected to participate next May
* New Product World Expands
* Inventor's Spotlight - much larger and includes informational sessions
* Green Theme - includes educational sessions on "how to be a green product" and a section devoted to green products
* International Emphasis - some of the top retailers around the world will preview the event; also, local Las Vegas store tours, an international reception and international-focused educational seminars

AsianNet.com exhibited at the Show to promote its Total Solution consisting of print, online and face-to-face sourcing channels.



The retail community gathered at the 2008 National Hardware Show®, Lawn & Garden World® and Homewares Show® to get a sneak peek at the industry trends and changes on the horizon. The 2008 event marked the return to Las Vegas and featured over 3,500 exhibitors from around the globe, giving attendees the opportunity to better their business by sourcing the products that might just be the "next big thing" in retail home enhancement.

With new and expanded programs including Green Product WorldT, New Product World®, Inventor's Spotlight, and Hot Topics Seminars, the industry discovered that it truly does pay off to show up at the National Hardware Show®!

This tradeshow was an ideal place for buyers, supplies and industry professionals to meet and gather information on current trends and keep abreast of innovations. Many came to this show to find new business partners and to meet with existing contacts.
