- No predrilling, No more splits and mushrooms
KTX-Composite Screw is the real screw allowed to be installed without volcano (mushroom) on the surface of composite board, and without predrilling for avoiding splits close to the edge of the board even just 3/8； distance.
- No driving slippage and user fatigue greatly reduced
KTX-Composite Screw adopts patented KTX-Locking Drive System, it reduces bit slippage and wobble situation and transfers at least 30% driving torque from power tool to screw to assure every screw installed successfully and effectively reduces user fatigue.? Its performance is much better than current Square and Torx recess. (KTX-Locking Drive also fits SQ, PZ, PH, SQ+PH bits for temporary use)

KTX-Composite Screw・s 2 drilling wings design on unthreaded shank next to the former thread first predrills a hole on composite board for eliminating lots of tailings, flushings and expansions, and also for later reverse thread and screw head to enter this hole, most of the tailings, flushings and expansions will be pressed into the remained space of itself in later installing process.? This is the main process to avoid splits close to the edge of the composite board.

Its performance even surpasses existed famous coatings for corrosive environments and ACQ treated lumber in the market.? Also, 18-8 stainless steel Composite Screw is optional.
