Up to the end of 1999, in the world about 300 companies and research institutes have launched PIM research. In recent years, PIM product sale volume has increased by about 30%. It is estimated that by 2010, the global PIM product sale volume will reach $2.4 billion. China̼ PIM technology R&D was leaded and launched by Powder Metallurgy Institute of Central South University at the end of 1980s, and we have made industrialization work on this technology.
