TURRET P-200S is a PCI-X type SATA II controller which applies portable sata standard e-SATA transmission technology. The product is capable of using up to 4(four) SATA HDD by connecting enclosure such as C-200S.
e-SATA transmission technology applied to P-200S supports bandwidths of SATA II(300MB/S) per every connectors.
The product is able to connect up to 4(four) SATA portable storage devices with a built in Port Multiplier such as the C-210. (4 portable devices instead of 4 HDD) e-SATA type connector enhances connectivity between a cable and connector, thus preventing unplugging of the cable during use.
RAID formulation (level 0, 1, 1+0, 5, JBOD, Concatenate, Hot Spare) is made possible and unlike the old UDB or iEEE1394, optimal performance is possible without a slowdown of speed due to limitations in connector or cable. |
