Maltitol syrup, its non-crystallizing and very similar to sucrose in taste and sweetness. Therefore, maltitol syrups are used as a replacement for sucrose in sugar free applications. It’s a unique polyol solution imparting the optimal balance between sweetness and stability particularly in hard candy and soft confections (caramel, toffee, gummy) and in food ingredient (bakery (cookies, cake etc.), soymilk, yoghurt, ice-cream, jam, beverage drink (Tea, Coffee, fruit juice, energy drink, herbal drink, fruit juice concentrates etc), jellies, sauces). It has nearly the same chemical structure as sucrose, therefore all the properties are the same, so it has the same taste ?no side or after taste, the same viscosity, the same volume ?it is a bulk sweetener and the same mouthfeel.
