En Chuan Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. was established in 1965. In the early stages of the company, the main product line was rubber type adhesives manufactured from synthetic rubber and resin for industrial applications. These adhesives were provided mainly to bond the shoe soles. En Chuan’s adhesives has set-up a strong brand image in the market place and had contributed greatly in the shoe making industry. During the late 1990’s, most shoe manufacturers in Taiwan relocated to China due to its lower labor costs. En Chuan therefore discontinued its Rubber type adhesives as the demand decreased in Taiwan.
