Ocean Plastic Co., Ltd. was founded by the founder of Yee Fong Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd-- Mr. Fan-Chu Chen and several entrepreneurs in April 1965. Starting with one factory in Chung-Ho city, Taipei, OPC manufacturing PVC rigid pipes and sheets. In 1967, adding printed sheets to our product lines. In 1970, we greatly improve our quality by licensing from Akimai Gomu Co., Ltd.— a Japanese company, and began manufacturing high quality sponge leather and polyurethane leather.
OPC has grown rapidly from 1976 to 1986. In September 1976, the company expanded by merging with Yee Fong Plastics Industrial Co.
